Another Filtronics system on it's way to the Village of Crete

The Village of Crete, IL, with a population of approximately 8,000, first contacted Filtronics, Inc. in 2014 while researching various treatment options for iron and manganese issues in their village wells.  After successfully pilot testing 3 of their wells, the Village decided to purchase their water filtration systems from Filtronics.   The second of 5 complete systems is on its way to the Village of Crete today.  The direct purchase from the Village consists of 7 filter vessels that will treat 5 different wells for iron and manganese, ranging from 400 gpm (gallons per minute) to 1560 gpm per well for a total of 4,360 gpm. This project was funded by the Illinois State Revolving Fund.
